In 1964, Mr. Elias Faltas established “The Arab factory for thin steel” in Alexandria producing all kinds of steel shapes such as flats, squares, rounds, and equal angles.
After the death of Mr. Elias Faltas, the two brothers Mr. Ramy Faltas and Mr. Maurice Faltas decided to specialize in the special steel production, naming the company
“Sambo Metals for cold-finished bars”
Sambo Metals was thus established in 1996 in the outskirt of greater Cairo,
6th of October industrial zone, owning 3 production lines. The first line: peeling, reeling and straightening, the second line: Shooting blast, Cold Drawing, Straightening and
Cut to length and the third line: Centerless grinding line for bars.
Sambo Metals specializes in Carbon Steel, Free Cutting Steel, Alloy Steel, and Spring Steel.
